As employers we are also responsible for our subordinates. We always have to think for the safety of our establishments and also our employees. In the law we have fire safety rules no matter how big or small your establishment is. You have to undergo a fire safety assessment in order to install the proper fire safety equipment like fire extinguishers, powder fire extinguishers, fire blankets, smoke detectors, fire alarms and safety exits. You should comply by the safety legislation so that the government can give you clearance and you can easily renew your business permit.

Aside from that it is better if you have fire drills so that your workers will know what to do in case of emergencies. In this way people will not panic since they already know the actions that they should do which can lessen the harm. Once a fire is discovered you should alert everyone by ringing the bell continuous cycle so that the place can be vacated immediately. Each person should also know how to use the extinguishers so that as little as the fire is they will already confine and smother it. We should take the safety of every person seriously so we should take at heart all the fire safety precautions.
